Seattle Airport & Transportation
The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, also known as Sea-Tac, boasts a half-mile Art Walk through the airport. It has 16 exhibits featuring local artists. Some of the Art Walk you actually walk on. So slow down a little and enjoy the view, your RV rental will be waiting for you when you get there.
When traveling to or from the Seattle airport you can use one of the many Ride Share Van companies in the area. These Ride Share companies have quite an extensive network taking you almost anywhere in Washington. There are RV rental locations in Ferndale, Seattle (Tukwila), and Bellingham, click on the link of each city for the corresponding shuttle company, Ferndale, Bellingham, and Tukwila.
Taxi cabs and limousines are located on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. There is a supply of 8-10 passenger van there as well. Visit Seattle Yellow Cab or more information.
STILA is located at the airport and will pick up passengers in a limo, SUV, or a town car. Pickups can be arranged for curbside outside the baggage claim area or on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. All taxi and limo drivers are required to be credentialed. They must pass a health exam, drug testing, criminal background check, and successfully complete driver, customer service, and map training. Wow, I’m impressed. If you would like to save a few dollars, try taking the Kings County Metro Transit. Google maps also has a public transit tab if you need help figuring out how to get from Seattle Airport to your RV rental location.
Depending on where in Washington you need to pick up your RV rental you may want to consider a rental car. There are many rental companies at the Seattle Airport to choose from. You can consider both Budget, Hertz, Enterprise, and Thrifty Car rentals. All rental car companies use a shuttle to get you to your car. Just collect your luggage and then proceed to either the north or south end of the main terminal, just outside the baggage claim, to one of the two designated shuttle areas.
Shuttles run 24 hours a day. The benefits of a rental car are that you can go directly to the rental location and you do not need to wait for a shuttle to drop other people off.
