Taxis are always readily available outside the arrival terminal of the airport, so they require no planning. They will take you directly to the RV rental location, so they are the quickest way to travel, but depending on how far you have to travel it may not be the most economical transportation. Uniformed taxi coordinators are stationed outside the arrivals terminal if you need assistance.

San Francisco has two public transit systems, the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) and SamTrams. With a little time and a little planning, public transportation could keep a few extra dollars in your pocket.
- Passenger Vans – for larger parties you may want to look into Shared-Ride Vans. These vans take passengers going in the same directions, so they make multiple stops, but have lots of seating, will take you to the RV rental location (not just a stop close by) and the cost is shared between other people going in your direction. Check out American Airporter Shuttles or Go Lorries Shuttles to inquire about cost.
- Limo – why not travel from the San Francisco International Airport to the RV rental location in style by renting a limo. A prearranged limo will pick you up outside the arrivals terminal and take you directly to the RV rental location and the price may surprise you. You never know, someone may even mistake you for a movie star.
